Our postgraduates have been recognised with some significant awards:

  • Chris Riedy was selected for the Chancellor's List for 2005. Click here to read his PhD thesis: The Eye of the Storm: An Integral Perspective on Sustainable Development and Climate Change Response.

  • Kumi Abeysuriya won the 2004-05 ANZSEE PhD Prize for her conference paper on how urban sanitation can be funded sustainably without external aid [more]

  • Tanzi Smith won a Sir Edward Weary Dunlop Asia Fellowship to help fund her field work on The Green Productivity for Integrated Community Development (GP-ICD) Program in Vietnam. [more]

  • Annie Bolitho was awarded the Chancellor's Medal for her thesis New Dimensions in Water Conversation: an inter-animation of writing and water - and she will publish her work through the Sydney University/Pan MacMillan 'Thesis to Book' program [more]
