Transitions to sustainability
There are many different theoretical frameworks for understanding how a transition to a sustainable future might come about. These include diffusion of innovations theory, Integral theory, theories of transition management and the values-led transition envisaged by the Great Transition Initiative (www.gtinitiative.org). This research would review these and other theoretical frameworks for understanding transitions to sustainability in the search for common themes or integrating structures that could guide the design of sustainability initiatives in the present.
